The eye gaze frame is a strategy that I have seen used in special needs classrooms. It allows a communication facilitator to position pictures in such a way that they can easily follow an individuals gaze to the one they are selecting or showing an interest in.I have had some success with individuals who had difficulty identifying pictures by velcroing actual tangible symbols (concrete cues) to the frame.
